Rosenergoatom Concern has become a prize winner of the public reporting competition of Rosatom State Corporation

Rosenergoatom Concern (part of the largest division of Rosatom State Corporation – Electric Energy) became the winner of the Rosatom State Corporation annual public reporting competition, having received a diploma for The best public annual report according to the representatives of interested parties. The Concern's annual report receives this award second time in a row.

In the general rating of public annual reports of Rosatom State Corporation organizations, the Concern's report got 86.5 points (out of 100 possible), receiving the Excellent score.

Following the results of the industry contest, it was noted that the Rosatom State Corporation organizations’ reports correspondence with the international reporting standards in the field of GRI sustainable development emphasizes the Russian nuclear industry’s leading position in preparing the reports; and that the programs and activities to promote reporting among the interested parties in the areas of presence, including the foreign ones are implemented.

At the final meeting on the results of the 2017 reporting campaign held on 15 December, the judges of the industry contest recommended that Rosatom companies adhere to the chosen leading position in the development and promotion of public reporting, as well as pay attention to the current trends in the economy digitalization and following the UN goals for sustainable development.

The annual report of Rosenergoatom Concern traditionally holds leading positions in Russian and foreign public reporting competitions. Rosenergoatom's 2016 report was assigned a 5 stars rating (for ‘the highest quality of the annual report’) based on the results of the annual competition of the annual reports of EXPERT RA rating agency. In addition, the Concern's 2016 annual report entered the short list of the 20th Moscow Exchange Annual Report Competition for The best annual report of a non-public company, and also became the platinum and gold medalist of LACP Spotlight Awards 2017, Marcom Awards, Hermes Awards, and others.

* The competition for public reporting of Rosatom State Corporation organizations is conducted in order to increase the nuclear industry information openness and transparency, support high quality of reporting, improve public reporting systems, independently evaluate the quality of annual reports, and improve the practice of interaction with the interested parties. The main objectives of the Contest are to identify and disseminate of best reporting practices, support the international standards of corporate reporting implementation, develop interaction with the interested parties, comply with the best practices of international reporting competitions.

Rosenergoatom Concern JSC is the leading enterprise of the Electric Energy Division of Rosatom State Corporation, the leader in electric energy generation both in Russia and abroad. It is the largest generating company in Russia and the 2nd largest in the world in terms of the volume of nuclear generating capacity. The Concern includes all 10 Russian nuclear power plants, which grant the status of branches, as well as enterprises that support the activities of the generating company. In total, 35 power units with a total installed capacity of 27.9 GW are operated at 10 Russian nuclear power plants.
