VNIIAES has dispatched automated process control systems to the Belarusian NPP
JSC VNIIAES has dispatched the automated process control systems’ components to the Belarusian NPP power block No. 1, including the high-level water treatment instrumentation and control system and the circuit block level system.
The high-level water treatment instrumentation and control system is designed to seamlessly control and manage the power block water treatment and purifying processes. The system cater for technology processes automation, automated upkeep of the given parameters, remote automated fittings and acting mechanisms management.
The circuit block level system is the central point of the power block status control and transferring the operator’s orders on technology process and technical equipment management.
The hardware was produced at the Measurement System Research Institute named after Yu. E. Sedakov. Before the dispatch, VNIIAES has integrated those systems and has installed and set up its custom software. Based on the tests carried out according to the specially elaborated methodology, the systems were defined to be compliant with the specification.
The inspection board has given its approval on the block dispatch.
The equipment was delivered to the city of Ostrovets in Grodno Region to be installed at the Belarusian NPP power block No. 1 constructed in line with the Russian design.
