84 papers from the representatives of more than 40 enterprises, covering all the branches of Rosatom activity were received for the contest.

The expert committee selected 40 works to participate in the second contest tour. The results will be published on July, 1. 

The defense of the papers in the second tour will be held in “face-to-face” form within the framework of the Youth Innovational Forum “Power Efficiency and Safety”, which is to be held from July 10 to 16 on the territory of Kaluga region. The authors will have to defend their projects face-to-face with the colleagues and expert community. The contest winners will receive material benefits and support in their projects’ realization.

Rosatom State Corporation with the participation of RusGidro OJSC and Schneider Electric Company are the organizers of “Power Efficiency and Safety” Youth Innovational Forum. The partners of the event are Information Centre of the Nuclear power Industry ANO, the Youth Association of Young Atomists and International Association of Corporate Education. Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL and Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC are the forum sponsors. The forum is held with the support of the Russian Federation Ministry of Energy. 

Young atomists and powermen will take part in the event, among them more 300 young employees of different enterprises of Rosatom, including scientific and research institutes, nuclear power plants, enterprises of nuclear defense complexes and nuclear engineering, the plants on nuclear fuel enrichment and fabrication. Representatives of the young staff of hydro powermen and Schneider Electric Company will also be among the participants.
