On September 13 on the Smolensk nuclear power plant took place an open tournament on intellectual game "What? Where? When?", organized by "Three Thousand" club and the organization of young nuclear scientists with support of administration and trade-union committee of station. Eight teams took part in it from employees and veterans of the Smolensk nuclear power plant, residents of Desnogorsk, pupils of the Desnogorsk schools. Besides, in tournament took part team from the city of Roslavlya. 

 Players of tournament were estimated by competent jury under the leadership of the trade-union committee chairman of the Smolensk nuclear power plant Yury Kuznetsov.

 Game included four rounds, only 49 questions, answers to each question in writing were given to the jury. The winner was determined by number of the gained points.

 By the results of five rounds a national team of the Smolensk nuclear power plant employees "Three Thousand" (captain Andrey Rozhkov) became the winner. The second place took the national team of Desnogorsk city (the captain – Oleg Shamarov). During the game the identical number of points was earned by applicants for the third place – team of nuclear safety and reliability department and the national team of Roslavlya city. The "bronze" prize-winner was determined by the game force (quantity of the taken difficult questions). The national team of Roslavlya "Melancholy of honor" (captain Victor Buntsev) became it.

 The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
