There are 1st and the 3rd power units on the Smolensk nuclear power plant in work. Total capacity makes 2050 megawatts. There are no any notes to work of the equipment. The power unit No. 2 is in planned overhaul.

Power units of the Smolensk nuclear power plant have developed 229 million kilowatts of hours of the electric power since the beginning of the month power.

Since the beginning of the year 14 billion 670 million kilowatts of hours have been developed, in excess of the plan - 1 billion 660 million kilowatts of hours.

The radiation background on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory hasn't changed and corresponds to natural values.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
