The Smolensk NPP has three power units in work. The total capacity is 3160 MW. There are no comments to the work of the equipment.

During October the Smolensk NPP power units developed 2 billion 322 million kilowatt hours of electricity, which is more than the planned target on 65 million. Since the beginning of the year it has produced 19 billion. 525 million kilowatt hours, over the plan - 627 million kilowatt hours.

The radiation background on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory hasn't changed and corresponds to natural values.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
