The Rostov NPP: production plan made on 114.5% in January 2015

The Rostov NPP fulfilled its electricity production plan at 114.5% in January. Planned target was 1 billion 514,4 million 400 thousand kWh, it was actually produced 1 billion 734 million 600 thousand kWh of electricity.

Load factor (capacity factor) in January 2015 was 106.81%, with the plan of 90.52%.

The Rostov nuclear power plant has developed more than 144 billion KWh of electricity since the launch of the first power unit in 2001.

The Federal Tariff Service approved electricity production plan in the amount of 18 billion 69 million 840 thousand KW hours of electricity for the Rostov NPP in 2015.
 
The radiation background at the plant and the surrounding area is unchanged and is at the level, which corresponds to the normal operation of power and do not exceed the natural background values.

The Rostovskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The nuclear station is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir in 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. There are two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with an installed capacity of 1000 MWt operating at the nuclear station. The power unit No. 1 was put into commercial operation in 2001, the power unit No. 2 – in December, 2010.
