The Rostov NPP: on the power unit ?3 construction site hydraulic test of the reactor facility started

There aee start-up works at the construction site of the Rostov NPP power unit ?3: reactor is closed, closing of steam generators and pressure compensators is being proceeded.

This is due to the fact that on July 8 pipe water filling is scheduled and the beginning of the first loop and hydraulic testing of the start-up unit is starting. At this stage of the hydraulic testing the quality of installation of the reactor facility is being verified, parameters similar to the operating mode are being achieved: temperature rises in water pipelines up to 80 degrees and the pressure increases to 250kg/sm2.

On-site of the power unit ?4 is being done the construction of the concrete walls of the reactor cavity. On July 6 supply of component parts for the polar crane block for the power unit ?4 was began. After building and installing it on a regular place installation of heavy equipment (reactor vessel, steam generators) will begin.
