The Rostov NPP: emergency reserve tanks of industrial water group "A" mounted

Emergency reserve tanks of industrial water group "A" installed in design positions at mark + 33.600 units of the power unit under construction ?4 at the Rostov NPP.

The system of technical water supply of group "A" consumers combines functions of security and normal operation of the system (heat transfer from so-called responsible consumers: storage pools, heat exchangers of intermediate circuit, number of ventilation systems and others).

Builders are Installing wallsfrom mark +30.700 up to +36.900 markin the extract and refueling pool.

Alsopre-assembly of units of primary circuit’s emergency cooling pipeline is carried out.

Launch of the power unit ?4 of the Rostov NPP is scheduled for 2017.

The Rostov nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The nuclear station is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir in 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. There are two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with an installed capacity of 1000 MWt operating at the nuclear station. The power unit No. 1 was put into commercial operation in 2001, the power unit No. 2 – in December, 2010. The power unit ?3 physical launch was in November 2014, electrical launch - in December 2014. Power unit ?4 is being constructed.
