At the construction site of the power units ?3 and 4 of the Rostov NPP more than 200 students in the 11-building groups of the Rostov region, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and Volgodonsk will take part in "labor semester - 2014", which will last two months. Helping builders, students will receive the first job skills and first work experience, earn money, and will also participate in various cultural and educational activities, sports competitions.

"You will see, how nuclear power plant get born from the concrete and iron. You'll be proud to have contributed to the launch of the NPP. And this is real life, you can not pause or start a "level" again. You have to become the winners here and now!" -  the Chairman of the Board RO students MOOO "Russian student squads" Dmitry Krotov  appealed to the students at the solemn meeting, which gave start of the construction teams work.

Since 2012 the tradition of student buildings has renovated in the Rostov region, and the construction site of the Rostov NPP was given the status of a basic platform for the "Russian Student construction of the nuclear power plants."

The Rostovskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The nuclear station is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir in 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. At nuclear station two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with an installed capacity of 1000 MWt are operated. The power unit No. 1 is put into commercial operation in 2001, the power unit No. 2 – in December, 2010.
