The Rostov NPP production plan made on 105.2% in February

The Rostov NPP fulfilled its electricity production plan at 105.2% in February. Three power units actually produced 3.234 billion kWh of electricity with the plan of 3.073 billion kWh.

Load factor (capacity factor) was 103.37% at the plan of 95.50% in February 2015.

The Rostov NPP has developed more than 146 billion kWh of electricity since the first power unit start-up held in 2001.

Electricity production plan for the Rostov NPP for 2015 was approved by the Federal Tariff Service in amount of 18 billion 69 million 840 thousand KWh.

Power units ?1 and ?2 are working in project mode set by load operations schedule.

Power unit ?3 was stopped for scheduled maintenance, which will last 27 days, beyond phase "trial operation" on February 24.

The Rostovskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The nuclear station is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir in 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. There are two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with an installed capacity of 1000 MWt operating at the nuclear station. The power unit No. 1 was put into commercial operation in 2001, the power unit No. 2 – in December, 2010.
