More than 6 billion kWh of electricity over the FTS plan has been developed by July 23 nuclear power plants of the JSC “Rosenergoatom Concern”.

Considering the balance of the FTS Russia in amount of 92,098,000,000 kWh, at 6 am (MSK) it was actually produced 98.146 billion kWh, which is by 6.6 percent higher than the planned target.

The Joint Stock Company "Concern Rosenergoatom" includes all 10 nuclear power plants in Russia, which have the status of Concern branches, as well as enterprises, supporting companies. In total 33 power units operate on 10 Russian nuclear power plants: 17 power units with VVER reactors (of which 11 VVER-1000 and VVER-6 440 different modifications); 15 units with RBMK reactors (11 units with RBMK-1000, four units with reactors of EGP-6); 1 unit with a fast neutron reactor with sodium-cooled BN-600. Share of electricity generated by the nuclear power plants in Russia is about 17%.
