The Rosenergoatom Concern is one of the corporate responsibility leaders, according to the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs

According to the second version of the Corporate Responsibility and Reporting Index published by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Rosenergoatom Concern has made it to the Top-20 of the best Russian companies.

Rosenergoatom was among the twenty leaders in the “Responsibility and reporting” and the “Sustainable development vector” indexes, being one of the companies with the most positive dynamics and demonstrating the top goal transparency and specificity. Other companies that made it to the both indexes are ALROSA, Bashneft, Gazprom, EuroChem, LUKOIL, Metalloinvest, Norilsk Nikel, RUSAL, Severstal, and TVEL.

The main goal of the Corporate Responsibility and Reporting Index is to create a set of tools for independent evaluation of corporate social security, which has been in place since 2014. The operations and the reports of the 100 major Russian companies are being analyzed when preparing the documents. Two indexes, namely the “Responsibility and reporting” and the “Sustainable development vector”, are being formed as a part of the project. According to the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, those indexes are designed not to rate the companies, but rather to evaluate the situation in general and the way it advances. The main output of the research confirms that the leading Russian companies still work a lot on the corporate social security and promote information disclosure.
