On September 13 a building site of the Leningrad NPP-2 was visited by delegates of the VIII International nuclear forum “Safety of nuclear technologies: culture of safety on objects of use of an atomic energy”.

Among the participants of technical round were heads and specialists of the entities of “Rosatom” State Corporation, and also of some other Russian organizations.

The participants of the technical round inspected a construction platform of power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the Leningrad NPP-2, examined a construction course, received answers to questions of the technologies applied in case of the construction of replacement capacities.

During the meeting the topical questions of safe operation of future station, among which were increase of safety culture at all stages of lifecycle of the nuclear power plant, including designing, construction, operation, repair, etc. were also raised.
