The main topic of this week's operational headquarters was to discuss the preparations for the key tasks of the year - strait of technological systems in the decompressed reactor. The work of staff, which was organized as a video conference, was headed by the General Director of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" Evgeny Romanov.

"We are monitoring all issues that directly affect the performance of this important task on time. First of all it concerns timely delivery of premises for installation of equipment, supply of pipes and fittings", - said the director of the Leningrad NPP-2 Yuri Galanchuk. He noted that the supply of the pipes under the "strait" is almost completed. In the short term, according to Yuri Fedorovich, the first power unit will held another key event, which goes before "strait" - type-ahead including of firefighting system.

As the representatives of the general contractor, several scenarios are developed to supply the necessary "strait" fittings. Among other things there is the variant of configuration of the power unit under construction with reinforcement from the reserve of the Novovoronezh and Baltic nuclear power plants.

According to Alexei Lapshin, the Director of the branch of the JSC "Concern TITAN-2" in Sosnovy Bor, more than 500 cubic meters of chemically desalinated water has been already produced for the "strait". More than half rooms needed for the "strait" are passed, the rest are in high readiness.

Assessing the progress of works on the power unit ?1 of the Leningrad NPP-2 as a whole, Alexey said: "Works on the first power unit are done according to the schedule. Development of long-term investment program in January - May 2015 at the first unit was done on100% ".

Next meeting of the operational headquarters in the rate of construction of the Leningrad NPP-2 will take place in July.

The Leningrad NPP-2 is part of the long-term program of the State Corporation "Rosatom" activities. Customer-developer of the project is the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom".

The general contractor of the project is the JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2".

General Designer is the JSC "ATOMPROEKT."

The Rostekhnadzor issued a license (? GN-02-101-2277) for the construction of the power unit ?1 at the Leningrad NPP-2 (valid - till 03.31.2018) and a license (? GN-02-101-2276) for the construction of the power unit ?2 at the Leningrad NPP-2 (valid - till 07.14.2019) on February 12, 2010.
