The Kursk nuclear power plant: in September 1,487 billion kWh of the electric power developed

The power units of the Kursk nuclear power plant developed 1 billion 487,1 million kWh of the electric power in September, 2013. 1 billion 372,1 million kWh of the electric power released to consumers.

Over 766 billion 873 million kWh of the electric power has been developed in total from the moment of start-up in 1976 of the Kursk nuclear power plant.

There are power units No. 1 and No. 3 in work at the moment. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule. On power units No. No. 2 and 4 planned repairs are carried out.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.
