The Kalininskaya NPP: power unit ?3 disconnected from the network by agreed application

The power unit ?3 of the Kalininskaya NPP was disconnected from the network by the permission of the «Rosenergoatom Concern» on February 4, 2015 at 14:55. Stop at the power unit is connected with works on the optimization of vibration generator mode.

There are no violations of limits and conditions of safe operation.

The works will be performed by the maintenance and engineering staff of the station, representatives of the OJSC «Power Machines».

There are three power units in work at the Kalininskaya NPP at the moment. The radiation background corresponds to level of normal operation of power units, which doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
