The Kalininskaya NPP power unit ?3 unplugged

Power unit ?3 of the Kalininskaya NPP was disconnected from the network on June 12, 2015 at 00 h. 00 min. according to the application agreed in the prescribed manner with the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" and the system operator. Stop of the power unit is connected with proceeding works on electrical equipment.
 
The power unit will be plugged in after the works being completed on June 12 at 16.00.

There are no violations of limits and conditions of safe operation.

There are three power units in work at the Kalininskaya NPP at the moment. The radiation background corresponds to level of normal operation of power units, which doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
