The power block ? 4 (BN-800) resumed work after its equipment has been tested before coming into operation. By the moment, the power block has reached the stage of providing 640 mW output. The capacity is going to be improved.

The first maintenance operation at the power block, which is currently under pilot development, has been started on the 27th of June in accordance with a manager request.

The main objective of the repair activities was to complete a differential revision of the equipment in order to prepare the power block to a comprehensive testing at the rated capacity and further coming into operation, which is scheduled in autumn 2016.
Observe: the first launch of the power block 4 within the power supply system occurred on the 10th of December 2015, and after that its total output has been improved, additional examination and equipment testing at different capacity levels and in various modes have been provided.

The Beloyarsk NPP has come into operation in April 1964. The first power blocks of the Beloyarsk NPP with thermal reactors AMB-100 and AMB-200 has been closed after the accumulated running time. The power block with a fast industrial capacity reactor BN-600 is still on. The power block with a fact reactor BN-800? is currently being prepared for coming into operation.
