Excursion programs for children, who are registered in the "Balakovo center of social assistance for families and children "Family"" will be carried out in the Information Center of the nuclear power plant from June 9 to July 14 in connection with the 30th anniversary of the power unit ?1 launch at the Balakovo NPP and the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the nuclear industry

More than 600 children of all ages will visit the centre In the next two months because of the invitation by employees of the Balakovo NPP. The fascinating tour was specially designed for them.

Today, the information center was visited by 45 students from the center "Family". They were presented the first exhibition in the lobby of the information center. It is a visual aid about historical background of the start-up of all four power units. After an interesting story about the work of the Balakovo nuclear power plant near a large layout the young guests were presented a new product - an interactive multi-touch table. This is a great computer with installed games that are specifically designed for clarity and accessibility of information about nuclear power. For example, children were playfully told about how the nuclear chain reaction happens, where are located on the map Russian nuclear power stations and how they "enliven" the city next to which are located. The children listened with great interest the story of the Balakovo NPP and played computer "nuclear"  games.

"Excursion to the Information Center of the Balakovo NPP became interesting not only for children, but also for us, for teachers, - shared her impressions the teacher of the center "Family" Oksana Konakova - We are grateful for the invitation to the nuclear power plant and the organization of excursions. Over the summer we plan to bring here all the children, who attend the summer playground of the center "Family"".

"We are pleased that after a lengthy renovation of our center we can again carry out excursions for residents and visitors of our city, - said the Head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Balakovo NPP Dmitry Shevchenko - An overhaul is being completed in the cantre. And we will open new conference hall, in which multimedia system will be installed, in November for celebration of the 30th anniversary of the power unit ?1 launch at the Balakovo NPP. We will be able to show our visitors the educational films in 3 D format".
