The Balakovo NPP is among the winners of the All-Russian contest of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation "Best policyholder on compulsory pension insurance2014" in the category of companies with a workforce over 500 people.

This is the fifth All-Russian contest "Best policyholder", which results are summarized by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. This year's competition attracted more than 7 million employers from all regions of the Russian Federation, which pay insurance premiums for compulsory pension insurance and compulsory health insurance, 25 thousand of them are representatives of the Saratov region.

The contest is intended to remind employers that the timely and full payment of insurance contributions to the pension system is a social responsibility of business to society.

Best companies were selected on following criterias: employer lists the premiums for insuranceand funded part of labor pensions of his employeesin a timely manner and in full as well as he provides all the documents necessary for the conducting of personified registration, appointment and recalculation of pensionson time and without mistake.

Competitive selection was carried out in four categories: employers with a workforce over 500 people, from 100 to 500 persons, up to 100 persons and individual entrepreneurs who have employees.

The title of "Best policyholder of the year"is awarded to the  Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant for the first time, indicating that the social orientation of the Balakovo NPP and Russian nuclear industry in whole. Not only providing current pensioners, but also future pension for workers, who provide reliable and safe operation of nuclear power plantsdepends on the funds transferred to the FIU bu the NPP.

The award ceremony was held in the Government of the Saratov region. The Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Goremyko presented diplomas to heads of enterprises and individual entrepreneurs, who have been recognized as the most responsible payers of insurance premiums in the country.
