On the Smolensk nuclear power plant there are the 1st and the 3rd power units in work. Total capacity makes 1985 megawatts. The power unit No. 2 is in planned overhaul. There are no notes to work of the equipment.

Power units of the Smolenskaya nuclear power plant have developed 857 million kilowatts of hours of the electric power since the beginning of the month, that exceeds a plan target on 21 million kilowatts of hours. 12 billion 620 million kilowatts of hours, in excess of the plan - 1 billion 891 million kilowatts of hours are developed since the beginning of year.

The radiation background on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory hasn't changed and corresponds to natural values.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
