On March 21, 2012 Volgodonsk first held a try-out of participants for NucKids-2012, an International kid creative project of Rosatom State Corporation.

More than 50 young Volgodonsk citizens showed their willingness to participate in the casting. Among them were representatives of vocal and choreographic groups, students of a theatre school and athletics classes. Boys and girls tried to show their skills and prove that they were worthy to represent Volgodonsk in that unique project.

Young artists from Volgodonsk pleased the contest committee, which consisted of members of Rosatom State Corporation. They also assured that the city would participate in the final of the NucKids-2012 project. The final results will be available 2-3 weeks later.

NucKids-2012 appeals to unite, inspire and elicit children’s creative potential from the cities with nuclear industry enterprises. The task of the project participants is to put a musical under the guidance of experienced teachers in a fairly short period of time and show it on the stages of Russia and abroad.

This kid creative project has already been existing for four years, and it’s worthy to mention that Volgodonsk children already took part in projects of the first two years passing extramural selections.
