On May 2, 2012 Rostov NPP started an action “St. George’s Ribbon”, organized by the Public Information Centre of the nuclear power plant.

More than 2,500 ribbons – symbols of the memory and pride for the Great Victory – are distributed within the workshops and departments of the plant.

Rostov NPP for the fourth year is an official partner of the national action “St. George’s Ribbon”. This year simultaneously with this action within the project “I Remember! I’m Proud”, at the Public Information Centre there has been opened the same-name exhibition, dedicated to the 67th anniversary of the Victory of our nation in the Great Patriotic War.

The display included military photographs, personal belongings, documents and letters of front-line soldiers, which have been kept in the families of the nuclear power plant’s employees as the most valuable relics.

The search element of Rostov NPP supplemented the exhibition with its exhibits: shotshells, shell splinters, personal possessions of the Red Army men found during the expeditions and “Memory Watches”. The exposition presents more than 100 exhibits.

Also under the project “I Remember! I’m Proud”, at the Information Centre there has been opened an exhibition of children’s drawings the “Years Scorched by War”. It displayed the works of children of the nuclear power plant employees and students of the city schools.
