Rostov NPP Hits April Target on Electric Power Output for 102.7 pct.

For 102.7 pct. Rostov NPP has implemented April target on electric power generation.

With the planned volume of 1,439 billion kWh, it has been actually generated over 1,477 billion kWh of electric power.
The Unit Capability factor (UCF) has made in April 102.7 pct. instead of the planned 99.93 pct. target.

In total, since its startup Rostov NPP has produced over 100,465 billion kWh of electric power.

The Federal Tariff Service approved a plan for Rostov NPP for electric power generation in 2012 in the volume of 14,724 billion kWh.

Rostov NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The enterprise is situated on the bank of Tsimlyansk Reservoir at 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. NPP operates two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with the capacity of 1,000 MW. Unit 1 was commissioned in 2001 and the Unit 2 – in December 2010. Power Units 3 and 4 are nowadays under construction. Power Units 3 and 4 are nowadays under construction and their startup is scheduled for 2014 and 2017, respectively.
