Rostov NPP Carries through Regular Survey of Employee Engagement
On May 14-16, 2012 Rostov NPP carried through the regular survey of employee engagement by the technique of the independent provider Aon Hewitt Р the worldХs largest company in HR-consulting.
It is a component part of the staff policy of Rosatom State Corporation, which pays the priority attention not only to skills, but also to the moral of staff of the industry enterprises.
The purpose of the questionnaire Р the determination of the level of emotional and intellectual status of the staff, which motivates their responsibility, and striving to work as well as possible.
Head of the laboratory of psychophysiological investigation Yelena Mosaleva noted: ТEffectively, the ТengagementУ is a sense of involvement in the great business, it concerns all the companyХs employees: from a worker to a director. The involvement level shows how much people want and work flat out in reaching the goals of the organization. ItХs some kind of a corporate spirit of the company, the willingness of employees to report positively on their company, go on working at it, and the willingness to show exceptional results of work for the success of their department and the enterprise in whole, as an individual canХt live and work only by mercenary motives.У
As a part of the survey, 595 people filled in questionnaires. It is planned out for the management of the nuclear power plant to undertake an online study, which will take place from May 16 to June 1, 2012. 14 top-managers of Rostov NPP will participate in the questionnaire.
All personal data will be processed by the independent experts of the company Aon Hewitt, after that it will become clear how much the staff engagement of the nuclear power plant has changed, or hasnХt changed, or what changes the plant requires.
The questionnaire has been pursued on a non-attributable basis, confidentiality of responses is guaranteed.
Rostov NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The enterprise is situated on the bank of Tsimlyansk Reservoir at 13,5 km from Volgodonsk. NPP operates two power units with VVER-1000 reactors with the capacity of 1,000 MW. Unit 1 was commissioned in 2001 and Unit 2 Р in December 2010. Power Units 3 and 4 are nowadays under construction.
