Rosenergoatom Concern First Deputy General Director Vladimir Asmolov took part in the international video conference of Russian atomists ТMoscow Р Brussels Р LondonУ, prior to the summit of G8 in Deauville (France), held on May 24 in RIA Press-Centre.

Deputy General Director of Rosatom State Corporation Kirill Komarov, Director of the Institute for Nuclear Power Safe Development, RAS corresponding member Leonid Bolshov, Head of Khlopin Radium Institute dosimetric control department Vladimir Osokin took part in the video conference with journalistsХ participation as well.

Vladimir Asmolov gave estimation to the accident at Fukushima NPP, also paying attention to the problems of Russian nuclear branch safety. In particular, he announced: ТThe accident at the Japanese Fukushima-1 NPP has showed that the economy on safety system elements is unacceptableУ.

The basic branches of Russian authoritiesХ initiatives on the world nuclear industry safe development, which will be announced at the summit on May 27 of the current year, were commented on during the video conference.
