Rosenergoatom: Kolontaevo Holds Field Festival ТSong of BulatУ
Rosenergoatom Concern became one of the main organizers of the Second All-Russian Field Festival of Art Song and Poetry ТThe Song of Bulat in KolontaevoУ. As in the past year, the festival took place from May 5 to 9 in the Moscow region, and was dedicated to the Victory Day and Bulat Okudzhava.

As the Chairman of the organization committee of the festival, Director of the Department for International Economic Cooperation of Rosenergoatom Concern Anatoliy Kirichenko told, Rosatom carried out several traditional song festivals, the most famous of which were the ТSinging SpringУ in Yessentuki and ТStrings of SoulУ in Volgodonsk. ТBut among our events, there were no any dedicated to Bulat Okudzhava,У said Anatoliy Kirichenko. According to him, the interest shown to the creative work of the poet was not accidental: Bulat had written about 400 songs, and 90 of them sounded in movies.
ТHis talent is winning. We have discovered a precious casket, and it turned out to be full,У noted Anatoliy Mikhailovich. ТThe festival united those people, who sang, composed poems, and songs. They had a civil position, which could either be lyrical, or humorous, and the art song helps to express it better than other kinds of art. Rosatom has the right to put in a claim to the industry of high intelligence, which always has elements of high art.У
The festival represented 52 cities of six countries, such as Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, and Germany. There were 300 participants in total. More than a hundred of participants applied for the preliminary competition. According to the results of the competitive selection, 40 participants took part in the final concert.
The festival was attended by such guests as Olga Okudzhava, a widow of Bulat Shalvovich, the performers of his poems and songs as Honored Artist of RF Leonid Mozgovoy, Vladimir Leonovich, and others.
The festival included seminars and master classes the ТGuitar AccompanimentУ, ТBulat Okudzhava Р a Friend of REPcomУ, ТLaughter Origin in the Art SongУ, ТPerspectives of the Genre DevelopmentУ, and ТHistory of the Amateur Song ClubУ, also there took place the performances on a military subject and recital of the famous bard Dmitry Sukharev.
