Rosenergoatom Concern has started the public certification of the draft annual report

Rosenergoatom Concern has started the procedure of the public certification of the draft annual report for 2010. The procedure was preceded by the dialogues with the interested parties and the public hearings on the draft annual report.

Deputy General Directors, Directors of Departments, Heads of Projects, Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC profile specialists as well as the representatives of Rosatom State corporation and its key enterprises, public and non-commercial organizations, educational establishments, scientific and research and ecologic organizations, including the Green Cross, Green Patrol and Oka, took part in the events.

Within the dialogues and public hearings the most significant for the interested parties topics: about the concept of the annual report for 2010, the Concern social succession in the nuclear branch, the NPPs construction, Rosenergoatom financial stability were discussed. Due to the results of these events the Concern had prepared the responses, obligations and commentaries, presented in the Terms of the companyХs obligations on the accounting of the interested partiesХ proposals.

As Deputy General Director Р Director on Corporate Management Beslan Barandjia Р noted, the events of the kind had been held in the Concern for the first time. It was connected with the fact that in 2010 the company took the decision of the preparation of an integrated annual report for 2010 in accordance with the GPI Administration (level B+), the standards of the interrelation with the interested parties AA1000 Institute of Social and Ethical Accountability and the Model Standard of Public annual accounts of key organizations of Rosatom State Corporation on nuclear power. ТOn the whole, -  Beslan Barandjia underlined, - the Concern approach to the interrelation with all the interested parties is based on the realization of the fact that the relations with them should be friendly and sincere, partnership, mutually advantageous and transparent and to be based on a regular and positive dialogueУ.

During the negotiations with the interested parties and public hearings about 50 proposals and recommendations were voiced. Their major part (60%) was related to the requirements for the publication of this or that information. As a result, from the proposals received for the report project (its structure, contents, the form of information presentation) 40 were considered (80%), 5 were not considered, 5 proposals were committed to be considered at the preparation of the future accounts, and the links to the existing information sources were given due to the rest 5 proposals. The proposals that were not considered touched upon the request for the information being proprietary (close), or their taking into consideration was acknowledged inadvisable.
