On the Leningrad nuclear power plant successfully passed the command and staff doctrine

On October 10, 2013 based on the Leningrad nuclear power plant passed the planned command and staff doctrine under the leadership of the North Western regional center chief of Russia Emercom of colonel general Shamsutdin Dagirova.

During KShU actions of rescuers and the personnel of the Leningrad nuclear power plant in the conditions approached to events on a Japanese Fukushima plant on March 11, 2011 were fulfilled.

For a course of the doctrine in which more than 2547 people and 267 units of special equipment were involved, Oleg Logunov, the Governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko, representatives of regional and local authorities the deputy plenipotentiary envoy of the Russian Federation President in the North Western federal district observed.

According to the scenario participants of the doctrine liquidated arisen (conditionally) emergency situations at the nuclear station, caused by adverse weather conditions - a storm squally wind to 35 m/s and a wind-induced wave to 3,5 m from the Gulf of FinlandИ (conditionally). Also during doctrines review of equipment which specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided, ATTs, to the Leningrad nuclear power plant and the 122nd medical medical unit took place.

According to the director of the Leningrad NPP Vladimir Pereguda, during carrying out the doctrine the nuclear station showed high level of readiness for actions and accomplishment of tasks in expected emergency situations in case of interaction with local, regional and federal structures.

As Shamsutdin Dagirov noted upon completion of the doctrine, forces and funds which were raised to doctrines, coped with an objective.

In turn Oleg Logunov emphasized that doctrines on the Leningrad nuclear power plant became an example of accurate work and harmonious interaction of services of response to emergency situations.

The Leningrad nuclear power plant is JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" branch. The station is located in the city Pine Pine forest, in 80 km to the west of St. Petersburg on the bank of the Finland Gulf. The Leningrad NPP is the country's first station with RBMK-1000 reactors (uranium - graphite nuclear reactors of channel type on thermal neutrons). 4 power units by electric capacity of 1000 MWt everyone are operating on the nuclear power plant.
