On the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant started the complex antiemergency doctrines (CAD) with participation of rendering the emergency help to nuclear stations group (OPAS) on September 18, 2013 (Udomlya the Tver region).

Complex antiemergency doctrines pass annually on one of nuclear stations in Russia. The purpose of their carrying out is check of readiness and enhancement of collateral practical actions of rescue forming, divisions of Concern, departmental antiemergency structures and the nuclear power plant personnel.

About 1500 people, including 115 people are involved in KPU from OPAS group, and also more than 150 pieces of equipment at the same time. The course of doctrines is observed by the international experts and journalists.

Doctrines are carried out in case of close interaction with local government bodies, regional authorities, Emercom of Russia and special divisions of the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation.

The scenario KPU which will pass within three days, assumes complete deenergizing (conditionally) power units with subsequent actuating of mobile equipment for a power supply and water supply possibility for chilling of reactor installation.

As the head of doctrines, the deputy director general Р the director of production and operation of the nuclear power plant of ЗRosenergoatomИ Alexander Shutikov noted at the taken place press conference in the Crisis center of Concern, the main feature of present KPU is that for the first time in action of this sort on the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant work of the mobile equipment purchased by ЗRosenergoatom ConcernИ during the post-Fukushima period for increase of the nuclear power plant stability to extreme impacts will be shown. Besides, the full-scale simulator of the power unit No. 4, and also reserve system of a radio communication of the TETRA standard will be involved.

For September 19, in the second day of carrying out KPU-2013, working off practical actions on recovery (conditionally) power supply and water supply on the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is appointed.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
