In May, 2011 Novovoronezh NPP power units produced 418.929 mln kWh of electric power. The plan for power generating, ratified by Federal Tariff Service of Russia, was fulfilled by 119.69%. 374.874 mln kWh of electric power or 124.13% of that planned was supplied to the energy system in May.

Totally, since the year 2011 beginning Novovoronezh NPP has generated 2814.776 mln kWh of electric power or 126.45% of the Federal Tariff Service established plan. For the five months 2549.701 mln kWh or 131.22% of the target figure has been supplied to the energy system.

In May power unit No. 4 of Novovoronezh NPP was working in the nominal mode. On May 13, 2011 power unit No. 3 of Novovoronezh NPP was shutdown for a PPR (scheduled preventing repair) and the nuclear fuel reloads. Since September, 2010 power unit No. 5 was shutdown due to the works on modernization performing.

No violations of limits and conditions of safe operation of Novovoronezh NPP power units were detected. The radiation background at Novovoronezh NPP and in the area of its location corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
