Novovoronezh NPP Implements Output Plan of May for 100,1 %
In May 2012 Novovoronezh NPP has generated 1,015 million kWh of electric power.
The electric power output plan, approved by FTS of Russia, in May has been implemented for 100,1 %. The power system received 948,4 million kWh of electricity, that amounts to 100,25 % of the plan.
The installed capacity utilization factor (ICUF) has made 74,39 % (of the planned 74,31 %).
In total from the beginning of 2012, Novovoronezh NPP has generated 6,327,1 million kWh of electricity, or 102,1 % of the planned figures of FTS. For five months the power system has received 5,925,3 million kWh, or 102,53 % of the plan. The installed capacity utilization factor for five months has made 94,57 % (of the planned 92,62 %).
Currently, Novovoronezh 4 operates at the set point. Unit 3 operates in a mode of gaining the capacity after the scheduled outage. Unit 5 is prepared for inclusion in the work after the fault clearance at VL-500 ТBalashov-ZapadnayaУ.
There were no violations of limits and conditions of safe operation of the units of Novovoronezh NPP in May 2012, as well as there were no damages of the systems and equipment.
The radiation background at the nuclear plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values typical for the Central European part of Russia.
