Novovoronezh NPP II Accepts 500th Employee
On May 4, 2012 the Direction of Novovoronezh NPP II under Construction accepted the 500th employee.
He was 28 year old engineer Denis Romanov. In 2006 he graduated with distinction from the Tomsk Polytechnic University, and worked on the distribution at one of the Russian leading companies on uranium enrichment OAO PO EHZ (Electrochemical Plant Production Association OJSC) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which is a part of the Fuel Company TVEL of Rosatom Nuclear Energy State Corporation. He started his work as a pilot operation operator of the central plant laboratory, then - as engineering technologist and shift supervisorХs assistant of the main separation plant.
Once having arrived to Novovoronezh, Denis Romanov visited the Public Information Centre of Novovoronezh NPP. Specialists of the Public Information Centre gave him a tour at the plantХs museum, told about the perspectives of the industry development in the city, and showed the construction site of Nv NPP II. Being impressed by the immensity of the project, Denis made up his mind to try his hand as an employee of the modern nuclear power plant.
It is indicative that after the passed interviews, the 500th employee was admitted as an engineer-physicist of the reactor operating states group of the Nuclear-Physical Laboratory of the Department of Nuclear Safety and Reliability, in other words, to work directly with the heart of the plant Р VVER-1200 model reactor.
ТThe interview took place in several stages. The last stage was a meeting with the Director of NPP II under construction Sergey Petrov. It pleases that the Head of the company, caring for the high-quality staff selection of the plant, finds time to talk to each of his future employees. I hope that the benevolence of all the NPP II staff showed at my admission to work will develop into a close cooperation and partnership while performing of official duties,У shared his opinion Denis Romanov.
