According to the report of the representatives of Lithuanian business, made on Tuesday during the meeting with the Administration of Rosatom State Corporation and the plant under construction, Lithuanian enterprises are ready to take part in the construction of a number of social and infrastructure facilities at the construction of Baltic NPP in Kaliningrad region.

The construction of Baltic nuclear plant began in Neman district of the region on February 25, 2010. Now more than 600 people are involved in the construction, and by the end of the year the number of specialists will have been increased up to 1.5 thousand. A building estate designed for 10Х 000 people will be constructed in Neman city for the builders and powermen.

A number of other companies possess experience that will help us jointly find common reliable and commonly advantageous economic and architectural and technical solutions for Baltic NPP infrastructureУ, President of Vetruna Lithuanian Company Vytautas Banis told the journalists.

Vetruna is included into top-3 Lithuanian largest enterprises in the field of construction services rendering and property management, and performs all the works on the buildings construction and reconstruction.

Rosatom State Corporation Deputy Director on Capital Construction Sergey Budylin noted that the corporation was ready for such an involvement of construction capacities as well as suppliers of separate types of construction equipment as well.

ТWe see some advantage in attraction of alternative suppliers, from the point of view of both reliability and probably the future prices. We have taken a decision of forming a permanent working group that would discuss not only political intentions, but also the specifics connected with the project documentation, technical decisions, the preparation of sitesУ, Budylin said.

He also reminded that the construction of Baltic NPP was the only e project in the history of Rosatom that the State Corporation was ready to perform together with foreign partners.
