Due to the schedule of repair campaign, on June 18 at 12:30 a.m. power unit No. 2 of Leningrad NPP was shutdown for scheduled preventive repair. The shutdown had been performed in accordance with the technological schedule of power unitsХ safe operation.

Power units Nos. 1, 3 and 4 operate in the nominal capacity mode. At present, the total loading is equal to 2560 MW. No violations in the equipment work have been detected. 

The radiation background at the plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to normal operation level and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
