On May 27 and 30, 2011 the Leningrad NPP was visited by fifty young experts of the D.V. Efremov Scientific Research Institute of Electrophysical Apparatus (NIIEFA). The youth organizations of two enterprises have agreed to cooperate afterwards.

Young designers of the equipment for researches in the field of nuclear physics, high-energy physics, operated thermonuclear synthesis have familiarized themselves with the work of the largest power enterprise of the Northwest region of Russia, one of the most considerable regional tax bearers and manufacturer of commodity products and customer of equipment, materials and services.

Along with discussion of some technical aspects of the Leningrad NPP activity and scientific developments, as well as acquaintance with the work of the operating power unit, the visitors asked the representatives of the Youth organization and the Center of public information of the Leningrad NPP about the wages of young workers and a possibility of acquisition of habitation.
