Leningrad NPP Restarts Unit 4

On April 23, 2012 at 02.53 am the Unit 4 of Leningrad NPP has been restarted after the completion of the scheduled preventive maintenance. Actually, the unit has been gaining its power on a phased basis.   

The unit restarting has been implemented as per the process regulations requirements.

The Units 1, 2 and 3 operate at the capacity corresponding to the dispatch load.

The radiation background at the Leningrad nuclear power plant area and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
