On April 18, 2012 Leningrad NPP held the final stage of the annual contest for the title of The Best Young Worker and The Best Young Professional of the year 2011.

The contest was organized by the Youth organization of Leningrad nuclear power plant under the guidance of the plant administration.

Under the provision, the finalists of the contest, which had passed the selection round, demonstrated their self-presentation to the jury, which consisted of the Director of LNPP V.I. Pereguda, Assistant Director for Human Resources O.A.Karpenko, and heads of a number of Leningrad NPP departments.

In their reports, the participants reflected the nature of their production activity and public works, and explicated a vision of prospects for their further career at Leningrad NPP. In addition, the contestants answered multiple questions of the jury and colleagues.

Finally, after the continuous discussing, the jury defined the winners in each category, having distributed the prizes as follows: in the category The Best Young Worker, the first prize was awarded to Dmitry Stepanyuk - a laboratory team manager for the psychophysiological support; the 2nd prize went to Alexey Skvortsov, a head of security department team; the 3rd prize was awarded to Artem Sharov, an engineer of the maintenance scheduling department. ТThe difference between the winners - just half a point,У commented on the juryХs decision O.A. Karpenko, the Assistant Director for Human Resources. ТEach of the workers has multiple sustainable suggestions, everyone wants to pursue science and move forward.У

In the category The Best Young Professional, in the final of the contest of the current year, there contested just the fair sex representatives. The first prize was distributed among Dariya Morozova, a programmer engineer of the educational and training centre, and Alena Smirnova, an electrician of the electrical workshop; the 2nd place was taken by the programmer engineer of the security department Yulia Kiseleva.

All the finalists of the contest will be awarded with cash prizes, and with certificates The Best Young Worker and The Best Young Professional of the year 2011; in addition, the appropriate records will be entered into their work record books.

In total, the contest was attended by 27 employees of Leningrad NPP. All of them, to the juryХs opinion, were already the winners. ТThese are people, who will move forward not only themselves, but the plant and the industry as well,У told the director of Leningrad NPP Vladimir Pereguda.
