After the TG-3 had been restarted (04/27/2012) and its capacity had been increased on a phased-basis, since April 28, 07.00 am the Leningrad NPP Unit 2 has been operating at the installed capacity.

Restarting of the Turbine Generator 3 has been performed according to the requirements of the process regulations on safe operation.

All the four power units of Leningrad NPP comply with the dispatch schedule and operate at the gross capacity 3,350 MW.

The radiation background at the Leningrad nuclear power plant area and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
