Kursk NPP: the May plan for electric power generation has been fulfilled by 108%
In May 2011, the Kursk NPP generated 2 bln. 94.6 mln. kWh of electric power. The task is executed: as for the electric power Р by 108 %, as for its delivery Р by 110 %.
Installed capacity utilization factor task is also overfulfilled.
From the moment of the Kursk NPP start-up in 1976 it has generated over 703 billion 909 million kWh of electric power.
At present power units Nos. 1, 3 and 4 of the Kursk NPP are in operation. Their capacity corresponds to the dispatch schedule. Power unit ? 2 has been under planned repair since April 22, 2011. Standard operating repair of the unit equipment are carried out under the schedule. The radiation background in the area of the NPP location and in the adjacent territory corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed the natural background values.
