A field meeting of the committee on ES (emergency situations) elimination and prevention and fire protection provided by Kursk region administration was held in public information centre of Kursk NPP.

The event preceded by a training and methodical gathering was held on June 30 under the Chairmanship of Kursk region Deputy Governor Vasily Zubkov.

Representatives of off-nominal emergency group of the plant and the fire department on the NPP protection participated in the inspection of Kurchatov city and district emergency subdivisionsХ technical equipping and readiness.

The first semester of 2011 results on the organization of municipal formationsХ activity on the provision of citizensХ safety in Kursk region water facilities and also the measures for fulfillment the events of fire safety and fire extinguishing in the spring and summer period were summarized.

The question of the stability of the objects at the region territory power supply was considered separately and the prospective aims for the nearest future were set.
