On January, 21, 2011 as a part of Rosatom State Corporation project named Blogospher? realization Kursk NPPwas visited by a GROUP of popular life-journals authors (bloggers).

Visiting the NPP by young writers interested in various problems of nuclear power already became traditional. Earlier in the context of the project Blogosphera KNPP had been already visited by life-journals authors twice. The travels of the kind had been organized at other plants as well - JSC Concern Rosenergoatom submittals. Thus, for example, among the visitors of Kursk NPP there were bloggers having earlier visited Smolensk and Rostov power plants.

At first an excursion on exhibitional expositions of Public Information Centre of Kursk NPP was organized for the young authors. There they got acquainted with the history of the development of nuclear power in Russia and in the world, of Kursk NPP construction, development and activity, with Igor V. KurchatovХs life and scientific creativity, and as well with the history of the city of nuclear power named after him.

After that the bloggers visited Kursk nuclear plant, where they visited the generator hall, shield radiation monitoring, block control panel and central hall unit No 1, solid radwaste srorage (SRS -1).

After the excursion was over, the bloggers met the plant and got the answers to all the questions they were eager to know. ТJudging by the high level and the content of the conversation it was evident that our guests are well-prepared, interested and of really great concern in different nuances of nuclear powerУ, Р Nikolay Sorokin, the head of Kursk NPP, marked in order to sum up the meeting.

Sergey Bogdanov, the organizer of the young internet writersХ visit, expressed the joint opinion concerning the bloggersХ visit of Kursk NPP and thanked the plant administration for the warm meeting.
