Kursk NPP Carries through Employee Engagement Survey
From May 15 to 18, 2012 about 1200 employees from 60 departments of Kursk NPP participated in the corporate engagement survey.
This survey has been carried through at the nuclear power plants of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC since 2011 with the purpose of revelation of motivation level of employees of the company to achieve the best results.
Approximately every fourth employee of Kursk NPP, regardless of the position, age or length of service, answered questions of a special questionnaire about various aspects of life of the enterprise and industry. Employees rated activities of the company, organization and working conditions, career opportunities and level of recognition of personal contribution to work, and other factors influencing on employee engagement.
The questionnaire has been pursued on a non-attributable basis, confidentiality of responses was guaranteed. Independent service providers, which analyze the information, deliver only summary analytical data to the management of the enterprise.
ТLast year surveys showed high degree of Kursk NPP staff engagement in the business of the enterprise and industry,У Deputy Director of Kursk NPP for Staff Management Alexander Apalkov commented on the engagement survey. ТThe production results, achieved by Kursk NPP in 2011, confirmed the commitment of our team to direct efforts and talents to the public welfare. We have good reasons to get a good result this year too.У
At the present time, Kursk NPP operates the power units No.2, 3 and 4. The units work at the capacity rated by the dispatch schedule. Since April 3 the power unit No.1 has been being under the scheduled midlife maintenance.
The radiation background in the area of Kursk NPP and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
