Kola NPP: collective agreement of 2010 has been fulfilled

On June 2, 2011 a conference of Kola nuclear plant working staff on summarizing the results of fulfillment of the enterprise collective agreement for 2010 was held. Representatives of all departments and subdivisions of the nuclear plant took part in it Р the working staff was represented by 98 delegates.

In his speech Kola NPP Director Vasily Omelchuk underlined that last year the employees had coped with the problem of consumers supply with electric power under the conditions of safe, reliable and efficient NPPs operation, having fully completed the production task, and the enterprise had been working in a stable and effective way.

ТApart from electric power generation, the improvement of safe operation level was and still remains an important problem for the nuclear plant employees. That is why the quantity of events on safety improvement is annually increasing together with the quantity of the sources given for those purposes. Thus, last year the plant sent the amount equal to 87 mln dollars on safety improvementХ, Vasily Omelchuk reported.

Also the enterprise economic activity was performed at the appropriate level last year, the equipment maintenance and repairs were properly performed. According to those achievements Kola NPP has taken the first prize in the production competition among Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC nuclear plants. Due to the year results the enterprise became the third in the annual contest ТThe Best Russian NPPУ.

The sections: social partnership, labor conditions and protection, medical services and voluntary insurance, non-governmental pension coverage and sanatorium and health resort treatment, youth policy, physical training and sports, among them children ones, are included in Kola NPP collective agreement.

The housing program remains in force Р the enterprise provides its employees with gift loans for them to improve their housing conditions. Travelling expenses and also thoroughfare and luggage transportation to the working place are fully paid out to young specialists.

Kola NPP trade union committee Chairman Ludmila Proskurnina underlined that owing to the cooperation with the employee representatives in 2010 any significant cases of the collective agreement non-performance had been avoided. She noted the trade union effective work in the field of labor safety, the plant employeesХ and their family membersХ recovery.

In the course of the meeting the delegation of Kola NPP was elected for participation in the conference of Rosenergoatom Concern work collective. The results of the Concern employeesХ collective agreement will become the main issue of the conference.
