Kola NPP worker has become the best according to the results of Rosenergoatom Concern contest in labor protection
According to the results of 2010, Head of Department of Metal and Diagnostics Sergey Titov was given the title of ТThe Best Labor Safety Worker of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSCУ. Within the framework of the celebration of the World Day of Occupational Safety and Health, the Concern and the enterprise management passed their congratulations over to the winner.
The NPP employees directly related to the enterprises labor protection took part in the contest.
One of the basic criteria for selection of the best workers was the absence of industrial accidents. Also a number of factors, which excluded gross violations of Rosenergoatom Concern regulations concerning labor protection, were considered.
The World Day of Occupational Safety and Health is annually celebrated at Kola NPP. In 2003, the World Labor OrganizationХs initiative on the celebration was supported by all the branches of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.
Labor Protection at Kola NPP is implemented in accordance with the regulations of the OSH Management System (SUOT). Within its framework there exists the system of personnel individual responsibility, providing the workersХ personal responsibility for labor protection requirements, rules and regulations meeting. The ТSingle JobУ database allowing to monitor and organize all the kinds of work carried out due to work permits, is introduced at the plant. The work in the field of labor protection is also performed with the personnel of contracting organizations, acting at the enterprise construction site. Today Kola nuclear plant remains one of the most successful large enterprises of Murom region in the field of the personnel labor and health protection.
