On July 27, 2012 Kola NPP held the final stage of the contest for the knowledge of industrial safety rules by the staff.

Traditionally, the company passed the preliminary and qualifying stages of the contest, in which employees of the plantХs subdivisions took part. In the whole, in the final plantХs stage the participated were 22 winners from 11 Kola NPP shops, which competed in two categories: engineering and technical workers (professionals) and representatives of trades (workmen).

The contest for the knowledge of industrial safety rules passed in the test form, during which the participants showed their knowledge in various areas of prevention of accidents: operation of thermal and mechanical equipment, electric devices, works with the use of tools and devices, as well as carrying out works at height. The juryХs assessment included two factors: the amount of correct answers and time.

Among the engineering and technical workers, the first was a Master of the Supporting Systems Shop, Vladimir Kalinichev. Among the workers, the first prize went to Valery Korobov, an electrician of OIKT.

Soon the finalists will take part in the corporate contest for the knowledge of industrial safety rules, the final stage of which will pass at one of the nuclear power plants of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.
