Kalinino NPP: a new Director of nuclear power station is appointed
On April 3, 2012 the General Director of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC Yevgeniy Romanov paid a visit to Kalinino NPP (Udomlya city, the Tver region).
During the visit, the Concern Head made the round of industrial site of the power unit No.4 of Kalinino NPP, and held a production meeting where he presented to the staff a new Director and a new chief engineer of the power plant. Mikhail Kanyshev became the new director of Kalinino NPP, who previously had held a post of chief engineer of the nuclear power plant. Igor Bogomolov was appointed as the new chief engineer of KNPP, who previously had worked as deputy chief engineer for operation of the second stage of construction.
Commenting on staff reshuffle, the General Director of the Concern Yevgeniy Romanov stressed that Тtaking into account the specificity of the nuclear industry, such decisions are always taken with care and deliberately. Mikhail Yuryevich and Igor Nikolayevich took some trial period, having worked from February as Acting Director and acting chief engineer of the plant. For this time they have demonstrated the correct and balanced approach to all the plant issues. Such an approach to work is worthy of respect.У Yevgeniy Romanov, the Head of the Concern, wished the new heads to keep those qualities over a period of their career that would assure success.
Assessing the work of the previous Director of Kalinino NPP Leonid Martynovchenko, who has been heading the company for five years, Yevgeniy Romanov called it as efficient and productive: ТLeonid Ivanovich created a good foundation for successful commissioning of the power unit No.4.У
Mikhail Yuryevich Kanyshev was born on February 23, 1961. He graduated from Obninsk branch of Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. Has been working at Kalinino NPP since 1984. Passed all stages of career development at the reactor shop, worked as shift chief of the first construction stage, as shift chief of nuclear power plant, as acting deputy chief engineer for maintenance. In July, 2006 was appointed as chief engineer of Kalinino NPP. Since February, 2012 has worked as Acting Director of Kalinino nuclear power plant, a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.
In 2003 M.Y. Kanyshev was rewarded with a Silver Medal of Rosenergoatom Concern ТFor merits in safety improving of nuclear power plantsУ. In 2011 by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation M.Y. Kanyshev was assigned an honorary title of ТHonored power engineer of the Russian FederationУ ТFor substantial contribution into development of nuclear power engineering and putting into commission of Kalinino NPP No.4 power unitУ.
Bogomolov Igor Nokolayevich was born on June 16, 1961. In 1984 he graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute specialized in ТNuclear Power Plants and FacilitiesУ. In 1999 received additional degree in Obninsk Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering specialized in ТNPP OperationУ. He has been working at Kalinino NPP since 1984 Р started from a post of reactor department operator, passed all stages of career development at the reactor shop. In October, 2003 was appointed as deputy chief engineer for maintenance of the second construction stage. Since March, 2012 he has worked as acting chief engineer of Kalinino NPP.
In 2000 was awarded with a Medal of II degree Order ТFor merits before Fatherland Т, in 2011 Р with a Medal of I degree Order ТFor merits before FatherlandУ.
