A meeting for school graduates and graduates from vocational school No.1 of the town of Udomlya and Udomlya region took place on January, 20, in Public Information Centre of Kalinin NPP. 

In order to speak to potential prospective students, representatives of Konakov, Bezhetsk, Torzhok schools and colleges of Tver region, training wide profile specialists, for working in the enterprises of nuclear industry were invited. Upon the whole the event was attended by over 140 participants.

Young people acquaintance with one of the largest energetic enterprise of Upper Volga, their conversation on essential questions with the representatives of Personnel Department of the NPP and, in the end, assistance in a free choice of profession in nuclear power industry Р these were the purposes of the held meeting.

According to Oleg Zhukovsky, the head of the personnel department of Kalinin NPP, the enterprise is interested in an inflow of young specialists: ЗThe aim of our event is to help schoolchildren to decide on their profession Р and to help them make their choice they would live with free of regretИ.

Career guidance of the schoolchildren and students of secondary-level and higher education is carried out at Kalinin nuclear plant for many years and appears to be a part of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC corporate program. The target result is engaging school graduates into studying in the educational establishments providing professional training of specialists, and their further job placement at the nuclear plant.
