Kalinin NPP: Meeting of Senior Pupils with Director of Kalinin NPP

On September 1 senior pupils met with Kalinin NPP Director, M.Y.Kanyshev, at O.G. Makarov Grammar School 3 as part of the annual educational action held for Udomlya school pupils, ТEducation Р the Way to SuccessУ. This year the conversation was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.



The tradition of opening of the new school year by lessons with the participation of successful and significant for the city and district people was established by the Council of Directors of Udomlya and Udomelsky district, and District Department of Education. The main objectives of these activities are career guidance of school leavers, knowledge transfer and education of the best human qualities of the modern young generation. 

During the meeting Mikhail Kanyshev was asked various questions, and from the answers the boys and girls knew interesting facts about the professional biography of the guest, including his favorite school subjects, hobbies and more. The information on the current level of development of the nuclear industry in Russia and promising outlook of working in it, received from the conversation, has aimed the senior pupils at the serious and thoughtful selection of the education profile.   
The dialogue between two generations allowed the children discovering of the understanding of the essence of success composed of good education, hardworking, responsibility, good manners and moral principals of behavior. 

Summing up, Mikhail Kanyshev wished young people diligence, achieving of the objectives, and expressed sincere hope for the future professional cooperation with those, for whom the nuclear industry would become a matter of life. In their turn, grammar school pupils thanked the guest for the interesting conversation and knowledge offered at the lesson.



Kalinin NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The Plant is situated on the north of the Tver Region in Udomelsk district. Kalinin NPP includes four power units with pressurized water reactors (VVER-1000) each one having the installed capacity of 1,000 MW.
